League leaders Accrington won for the tenth time in a row this season with Graeme Sneddon hitting a match winning unbeaten 60 in his sides 6 wicket win at Rawtenstall. The left hander hit eight fours and two sixes in a 104 ball innings after Imran Abid (2-44) and Rizwan Shafiq had reduced the leaders to 11-2 after being bowled out for 155. Peter Wrathmell's maiden league half century laid the foundations for Rawtenstall's recovery from 76-6. Wrathmell hit five fours and a six before being last out as Liam Smalley marked his first senior bowl with two wickets in the last over to give Accrington the vital bowling points. Smalley took 3-32 and professional Ashar Zaidi 4-32 with Abid making 26 in an 8th wicket stand of 42 with Wrathmell. Chris Cook-Martin also chipped in with 18. Andy Greenwood (10) and Jacob Clarke were soon back in the pavilion but Zaidi (30) and Sneddon put on 54 before the paid man fell lbw to Abid. Marley Ali made 21 in a 4th wicket stand of 65 which doubled the score before holing out to Danny Barlow to become Keith Roscoe's 1499th Lancashire League wicket. Skipper Graham Lloyd hit a couple of sixes to end proceedings and maintain Accrington's pole position.
