Zaidi removed Steve Brunt (0) at 3 and David Ormerod sent back Chris Burton (12) at 23. Burnley's in-form batsman Qasim Ali and professional Adnan Rasool then turned the match with a 3rd wicket stand of 73 until Hanson broke the partnership by having Rasool stumped by Wilson for 27. Ali made 56 with four sixes and two fours before being run out. The return of Ormerod this time from the scoreboard end turned the match Accrington's way as the veteran took 5-18 from 4.1 overs in his second spell to dismiss Burnley for 125. Lalor made 11 but 4 wickets fell for the addition of 4 runs to allow Accrington to pick up 2 vital bonus points. Ormerod finished with 6-56. |
