Graham Knowles hit a superb century as Haslingden thrashed Accrington by 132 runs at Bentgate. The Home skipper hit eleven fours and three sixes in compiling 116 from 138 balls. Prior to this game Knowles hadn't passed 50 once this season. Lewis McIntosh helped his captain add a season's best 182 for the 3rd wicket, scoring a career best 71 from 98 balls with three sixes and two fours. Mo Imtiaz was unbeaten on 16 as Haslingden closed on 246-6. Professional Harry Boam took 4-18 from 13 overs and Garry Sudworth 3-9 as Accrington were dismissed for 114. Professional Ashar Zaidi made 23 and there were 21 extras. Accrington drop down to fourth in the table.
