Accrington moved to just 2 points behind Church in third place after a 31 run win over Colne at Thorneyholme Road. As in the Worsley Cup game earlier in the season it was extras that made top score in Accrington's innings of 129 with 21 wides pushing the total up to 29. Stuart Crabtree hit four fours in making 28 before a yes no interlude with professional Ashar Zaidi saw both men at the same end. Graham Lloyd also made 22, including his 4,000th league run for Accrington, with Matt Walker taking a career best 4-23 for Colne. Zaidi then took 6-27 and David Ormerod 3-50 to bowl Colne out for 98. Sam Tillotson top scored with 26 and professional Shadley van Schalkwyk made 18 but no other player made double figures as Colne collapsed from 65-3 to 98 all out.
