Matt Wilson rolled back the years with an unbeaten 65 to steer Accrington to a 3 wicket win against Bacup at Thorneyholme Road. Batting at number seven, Wilson hit a dozen boundaries from just 66 balls after coming to the wicket with half the side out and 102 wanted for victory. He received fine support from Graeme Sneddon (17) and Matt Taylor (9 not out) as Accrington chased down Bacup's 161-8 with 4 overs and 2 balls to spare. Andy Greenwood (22) and professional Ashar Zaidi (16) also chipped in higher up the order with Bacup sub professional Dinuka Hettiarachchi taking 3-67. David Ormerod had earlier taken 5-88 and Zaidi 3-40 with Wilson claiming four victims behind the wickets. McGregor made an unbeaten 53 after retiring hurt on 20 with an injured shoulder. The opener hit three fours and two sixes from 70 balls. Anthony Taylor (25), Andrew Spencer (18) and Joe McCluskie (17) also chipped in for the visitors.
