Accrington go second after a 6 wicket win at Nelson. Ashar Zaidi hit an unbeaten 74 from 62 balls with five sixes and three fours after Nelson had been restricted to 146-8. The Accrington professional also picked up 6-51 with David Ormerod bowling through the innings taking 1-64 with his wicket coming in the final over when he had Sean Lemon caught by Graham Lloyd for 27. Stuart Lemon made 32, Neil Thompson 26, Khurram Nazir 16 and skipper Thomas Lord 15. Nelson used seven bowlers but Accrington won with 8 overs to spare. Simon Hanson's workman-like 25 occupied 106 balls and contained just two boundaries.
