Enfield overtook Church on run rate in Group A after beating Accrington in just 12.2 overs at Thorneyholme Road. Accrington skipper Jimmy Hayhurst top scored with 29, including a couple of sixes but his side could only manage 100-8. Stuart Crabtree also made 19 but Alex Whittaker's second over proved crucial as the young spinner removed both Simon Hanson and professional Ashar Zaidi to have Accrington struggling on 10-2. Professional Werner Coetsee (28), skipper Adam Bracewell (26), Liam Jackson (14 not out) and Sagawat Hussain (16 not out) ensured that Peter Dickinson's calculations were not in vain to secure a semi final slot.
