The only match of the weekend that saw the reverse result was at Dill Hall Lane where Accrington lost their spot at the top of the table after a 2 wicket defeat by Enfield in a last ball finish. Professional Ashar Zaidi top scored with 46, including three fours and a six in Accrington's 146-8. Stuart Crabtree hit five fours in making 41 and Simon Hanson made 19. Enfield professional Werner Coetsee took 4-73 and Liam Jackson 3-36. Opening the innings for the last time in his final match before retirement, Mas Ahmed made 38 against his former club before being caught and bowled by Zaidi. Asif Fazal (5) and Coetsee (15) had already departed and when skipper Adam Bracewell followed without scoring Accrington looked well on top. Joe Wrigley battled away for 25 and Jackson hit two big sixes in his vital knock of 29 that set up the victory. Five were needed off the last over with 3 wickets in hand and with the scores level 1 was needed off the final ball. David Bracewell and Wes Ingham, batting with a runner, saw Enfield home to notch a hard fought victory. David Ormerod (3-69) and Zaidi (3-62) both picked up 3 wickets for Accrington who now drop down to third behind new leaders Todmorden and Lowerhouse.
