Enfield completed the double over Accrington with a 4 wicket win in a low scoring encounter at Thorneyholme Road. Liam Jackson took 4-41 to reduce Accrington to 46-7 but spirited resistance from professional Will Driver, who hit four fours in his top score of 38, passing 800 runs for the season, Mitch Taylor (18) and Jimmy Hayhurst (10) took the score to 100. Kurt Robinson picked up four victims behind the wicket for Enfield. Skipper David Ormerod removed Asif Fazal (10) and Paul Carroll picked up sub professional Chris Cook-Martin (8) and Jackson (8) but skipper Mas Ahmed hit 37, including four boundaries in a 4th wicket stand of 43 with Chris Maudsley (19) to take Enfield to within touching distance of victory. Simon Hanson picked up a couple of wickets but the visitors got home with more than 11 overs to spare.
