Levi Wolfenden helped Church recover from 9-2 to post 151-8 against Accrington at West End. Sam Holt also made 32 and Adam Greenwood 18. Skipper David Ormerod took 4-41 for the visitors who made made 30-0 when rain ended play for the day. Matt Wilson was unbeaten on 22.
Only two matches finished this afternoon on the day that England regained the Ashes with Colne and Burnley the only sides to register wins. The unfinished matches will be replayed on the fifth Fixed Replay Date Saturday September 12th.
