Half centuries by professional Roy Silva and Graham Lloyd helped Accrington stay second after a 5 wicket win at Church. The home side made 228-5 with professional Niel Bredenkamp hitting 57 from 56 balls with six fours and three sixes. Ex Accringtonian Adam Greenwood chipped in with an unbeaten 42 and another one Sagawat Hussain made 28 at the top of the order. Damian Clarke picked up 3-55 for the visitors who soon lost Paul Carroll (1) to Andrew Bentley (3-96) but Matt Wilson defied the pain of a dislocated finger to hit 44, adding 50 with Stuart Crabtree (17) for the 2nd wicket. Silva then led a charmed life but settled down to hit 77 in a 4th wicket stand of 106 with Lloyd (54) who hit his third half century of the season before both men were dismissed with victory in sight.
