Todmorden won a cup match at Accrington for the first time since 1978. Jon Henderson's men came away from Thorneyholme Road with a 3 wicket win, achieved with 13 overs to spare. Graeme Sneddon top scored with 58 in Accrington's 147 all out, adding 68 for the 2nd wicket with professional Nishit Shetty (48) after Waqas Ahmed had failed to trouble the scorers. Simon Hanson (17) was the only other batsman in double figures. Professional Francois du Plessis (3-21) and Andrew Sutcliffe (3-23) took 3 wickets apiece for the visitors. Hanson then removed both openers in picking up a senior best 4-34, but du Plessis (47) and Tom Marsh (16) repaired the damage. Mo Bux then hit a typically roust 40 before being smartly stumped by Matt Wilson off Hanson. Ben Sutcliffe guided the visitors home with an unbeaten 16.
