Haslingden professional Dan Christian took 4-13 with good back up from Lewis McIntosh (3-19), Stuart Catterall (2-22) and Accrington old boy Jimmy Hayhurst (1-33) to bowl Accrington out for 89 at Bentgate. The visitors collapsed from 41-1, losing their last three wickets at 89 with only opener Graeme Sneddon (28), Stuart Crabtree (26) and professional Nishit Shetty (11 in his first match of the season) making double figures. Haslingden knocked off the runs in just 13 and a half overs with Andy Clough unbeaten on 35 after an opening stand of 64 with Graham Knowles (33).
