Another complete Sunday washout has left Rishton needing just four points from their two remaining matches to clinch their first Lancashire League title since 1996. Rishton's two remaining games are both at home. On Saturday they take on Lowerhouse and the following day second placed Rawtenstall, the only other club with a mathematical chance of overtaking Rishton, travel to Blackburn Road.
