A superb unbeaten 132 by professional Greg Mail took Colne to an 8 wicket win over Accrington at the Horsfield. The Australian hit a dozen boundaries and five sixes on his debut for the club, putting on 157 in an opening stand of 157 with Jeff Ellis, who made 82 with nine fours and three sixes after Accrington had scored 230-4. Sub professional Mohammed Asif also hit a century, notching 15 fours and a couple of sixes from 148 balls after slow start to his innings. Toby Bulcock hit 30 in a 4th wicket stand of 101 with his professional, Brian Heywood 23 and skipper Matt Wilson 22 but Colne strode to their second win of the season on their home patch.
