Accrington's recent revival came to a halt at Turf Moor where defending champions Burnley cruised to a 6 wicket win after bowling the visitors out for just 59. Professional Jonathan Harvey (4-36) and Graham Lalor took 4 wickets apiece as only Graeme Sneddon (17) Mohsin Ahmed (12) and Toby Bulcock (10) could muster double figures in the Accrington innings. Lalor didn't concede a run in his first four overs, bowling two double wicket maidens to record the remarkable figures of 4-0 at this stage. His final figures were 4-4 from 6 overs, 5 of which were maidens. David Ormerod picked up Jonathan Clare for 4 and Bulcock removed Vishal Tripathi (27) Mohammed Jamal (5) and Steve Brunt (0) before Harvey (9) and Chris Burton (15) saw Burnley comfortably home at 4.25pm.
