Enfield moved into a clear lead at the top after a dramatic win at Accrington. The home side's last 8 wickets fell for the addition of just 17 runs to give the leaders a 20 run win. Accrington professional Nishit Shetty again fought an almost lone battle with only skipper Matt Wilson joining him in double figures in two completed innings in successive days. Wilson hit four fours and a six in a 3rd wicket stand of 118 with Shetty, who celebrated his 34th birthday by hitting nine fours and two sixes in an innings of 81. When Shetty was 8th out, caught by Craig Fergusson at long off, Accrington's hopes were dashed. Seven batsmen failed to score with veteran Bernard Reidy taking 5-32 for the leaders. Professional Alviro Petersen had earlier hit 53 with Fergusson chipping in with 32 and Mas Ahmed hitting 22 in Enfield's 165 all out. Shetty picked up 4-55 and David Ormerod 3-74.
