Accrington lost for the 15th time in succession after Todmorden handed them a 6 wicket beating at Centre Vale. The visitors began disastrously with Mo Bux dismissing Zahir Afzal (3) and professional Tama Canning (0), who had been delayed when his car broke down, in successive balls. Accrington were soon 9-3 when Jon Henderson dismissed Mohsin Ahmed (2) and 15-4 when Bux bowled Stuart Crabtree (7) but the Wilson brothers pulled the innings round with a 5th wicket stand of 57. Skipper Matt hit six boundaries in making 30 with Adam hitting 32. Graeme Sneddon made 19 but Accrington were soon 109-9 when Tariq Hussain (22) put together a last wicket stand of 50 with Damian Clarke. Todmorden tried seven bowlers but Clarke hit a career best unbeaten 28 at a run ball, including his first ever senior six, before Paul Brierley picked up his fifth catch of the innings to remove Hussain. Bux picked up 3-24 and Stuart Parker 3-30 for the home side. Afzal removed Brierley for 9 and Canning dismissed Simon Newbitt (24) but Gyan Pandey hit an unbeaten 89 with nine fours and five sixes as Todmorden won with almost 10 overs to spare.
