Rishton v Accrington
Rishton warmed up for their semi final visit to Centre Vale with a 5 wicket win over Accrington who have now lost 13 matches in a row. Professional Kumar Dharmasena was Rishton's match winner with an unbeaten century that contained 12 fours, one six and a five off 131 balls as the home side successfully chased Accrington's 214-6. Opener Richard Rostron also hit 51 off 97 balls with six fours in a 2nd wicket stand of 139 with his professional after Zahir Afzal had removed Parvez Kazi for 5. Stuart Crabtree had earlier given the visitors some hope with a superb unbeaten 72, his maiden league half century. The left hander hit nine fours and three sixes off 58 balls. Afzal had given Accrington a flying start with 40 out of an opening stand of 51, made off 34 balls with six fours and a six. Mohsin Ahmed made 55 before becoming one of three wickets for skipper Scott Greaves (3-30)
