Champions Haslingden made it a maximum 48 points out of 48 with a 6 wicket win over Accrington at Bentgate. Stuart Catterall took 4-25, Steve Dearden 3-29 and professional Pasan Wanasinghe 3-31 to dismiss Accrington for 99. Mohsin Ahmed ended his poor run of form with 41 before falling to a blinding catch by Wanasinghe off Dearden, after hitting four boundaries in a a100 ball innings. Tama Canning (10) and Adam Wilson (13) were the only other batsmen in double figures. Graeme Sneddon dismissed Graham Knowles for 6, but Wanasinghe (27) and Barry Knowles (25) took the score to 52 before Tariq Hussain, who picked up his 150th Lancashire League wicket for Accrington, dismissed them both. Damian Clarke removed John Simpson (6) but Dearden (8 not out) and Andrew Smith (11 not out) saw Haslingden to victory in the 27th over.
