Accrington v Bacup
Bacup won the battle at the bottom by a convincing 9 wicket margin at Accrington. The home side were bowled out for 125 with skipper David Ormerod taking 7-49. His counterpart Matt Wilson celebrated his return to fitness with his first half century of the season, hitting six fours and a six in an innings of 52. Andrew Greenwood made 28 and opener Mohsin Ahmed 21 but no other batsman made double figures with John Chapman picking up three stumpings off his skipper. Paul Gallagher then hit an unbeaten 53 and Tim Farragher 36 with 33 extras completing a miserable afternoon for Accrington.
