Accrington
v Littleborough
Littleborough reached the semi finals of the Inter League Challenge Trophy with a 10 wicket win at Accrington. After bowling the hosts out for 76, Littleborough needed just 46 off 27 overs after rain delayed their reply by almost an hour. Openers Gary Hulme and Alex Collins knocked off the runs in just 8 overs. Former West Indies skipper Richie Richardson was Littleborough's sub professional in the absence of Clinton Perren who has a broken finger. It was veteran medium pacer Brendon Miskella who did the damage for the visitors by dismissing Accrington professional Tama Canning (6), Richard Burrows (0) and Zahir Afzal (0) in a nine over spell at a cost of just 14 runs. Only opener Graeme Sneddon (20) and captain Matt Wilson with 21 off just 20 balls made double figures for the home side. Phil Deakin polished the innings off with 3-9 after Richardson had picked up 2-4 in a 6 over spell.
