Enfield
won their first league match of the season by handing Accrington
another thrashing at Thorneyholme Road. Alviro Petersen again showed
a liking for the Accrington attack by hitting 43 after Enfield had bowled
the home side out for 98. A last wicket stand of 26 between Damian Clarke,
who hit a career best 20, and Adam Barnes took Accrington from 72-9.
Keith Barker took 3-8 in 7.2 overs with three run outs making it a total
of six in two days for Accrington. Enfield's 7 wicket win lifted them
from the bottom of the table.
