leaders Accrington made it five wins in a row with a 4 wicket
win at Burnley. Daniel Pickup (49) and Gareth Halley (35) were
the home sides main run scorers in a total of 172-8 with Tama Canning
taking 3-37, Zahir Afzal 3-64 and Jimmy Hayhurst 2-29 for Accrington.
Canning then hit six fours and three sixes in a superb unbeaten 80 to
steer Accrington home after Kerry Jeremy (2-40) and Steven Holden (2-53)
had reduced the visitors to 23-4 and 52-5, but Stuart Crabtree hit 27
in a 6th wicket stand of 66 with the professional and Afzal an unbeaten
31 in an unbroken match winning stand of 55.
