got back to winning ways with a 6 wicket win over Accrington
at Lanehead. The visitors lost half the side for 39 but the Wilson brothers
Matt (27) and Adam (14) put on 44 for the 6th wicket with Stuart Crabtree
(11) and Sagawat Hussain (10) adding a late flourish to take the total
to 106. Former Accrington Junior David Ormerod took 6-43 to pass 50
wickets for the 6th successive season and 8th time in all and Chris
Simpson took 3-33. Bacup knocked of the runs inside 20 overs with Simpson
making 27, Peter Thompson 23 Matt O'Connor an unbeaten 21 and Peter
Killelea 15. Sagawat Hussain picked up his first 2 senior wickets for
Accrington.
