career best bowling performance from Jonathan Finch paved the way for
another Lowerhouse victory against Accrington at Liverpool
Road. The medium pacer took 6-52 as the visitors made 161-9. Matt Wilson
hit 49 (five fours and two sixes) and Graeme Sneddon 47 (five fours
and one six) in a 3rd wicket stand of 89 for Accrington. Stand-in paid
man Iqbal Iman from Royton hit an unbeaten 70 as Lowerhouse lost just
1 wicket in knocking off the runs. Finch made 32, Qasim Ali 30, before
retiring with cramp, and Chris Bleazard an unbeaten 25.
