Blomley bowled Haslingden to a first win of the season against
Accrington at Bentgate. The visitors were 10-5 at one stage,
but Assim Hussain and James Hayhurst both hit 19 to take the score to
88 all out Stuart Catterall also took 3-15 in a 10 over spell. Mike
Ingham, restored to the side, batted through for an unbeaten half century
as Haslingden won by 4 wickets. Assim Hussain was the visitors most
successful bowler taking 2-10.
