The visitors lost professional Andre Seymore to the last ball of the first over without scoring to opposite number Ben Higgins and they were soon 16-3. A 4th wicket stand of 55 between Mohsin Ahmed (30) and Adam Greenwood (33) helped Accrington to 153 all out with Matt Wilson hitting his 1,000th run for the club in a top score of 44.
