Ormerod took his 700th Lancashire League wicket and his 50th league
wicket of the season as Bacup beat Accrington by 9 wickets
at Thorneyholme Road. Andre Seymore made 61 and Mohsin Ahmed 26 but
Ormerod took 5-62, his 50th 5 wicket haul in the league, and Shaun Young
3-24 as Accrington collapsed from 102-1 to 155-9. Peter Thompson (54
not out) hit his first half century against Accrington and Young passed
1,000 league runs for the season in his unbeaten 76 for Bacup. Andre
Seymore hit his 1,000th league and cup run of the season and Steve Juliff
took his 200th Lancashire League wicket for Accrington.
