Records
tumbled at Thorneyholme Road in a match that saw 516 runs scored between
Accrington and Todmorden. Tushar Arothe, Todmorden's substitute professional,
scored an unbeaten 189, which is a club record individual score, beating
Brendan Nash's 176 not out against Ramsbottom in 1999. It is also the
highest innings played at Thorneyholme Road, beating Charlie Llewellyn's
188 not out against Bacup in 1913. Todmorden's total of 275-3 is also
the highest against Accrington in limited overs matches and Accrington's
reply of 241-7, is also a club record score for the club in limited
overs cricket. Arothe's monumental knock contained 20 fours and six
sixes off 156 balls. He put on 187 with Matthew Brierley (38 not out)
for the 4th wicket which is the highest partnership of the season to
date and also a club record for Todmorden.

a career best 85, his fourth half century of the season, Andre Seymore
64 and Matt Wilson 43, but in the end the total was just too high.
