Accrington remain bottom of the Lancashire League after losing at Rishton by 6 wickets. Opener Mohsin Ahmed hit a superb unbeaten 68 for Accrington, including 9 boundaries, but only professional Andre Seymore (10) of the other batsmen made double figures with Usman Janjua taking 3-39 and former Accrington bowler Scott Greaves 2-11 as the visitors made 124-9. Peter Sleep hit an unbeaten 54 and Russell Whalley 33, including four successive sixes off Seymore. Four Accrington bowlers picked up a wicket, including Steve Juliff who moved to within one wicket of 150 in the Lancashire League for the club. Mohsin's half century was his second for Accrington.
