Andre in action

The innings of the day was at Thorneyholme Road where Accrington professional Andre Seymore carried his bat for an unbeaten 52 as his side were bowled out for 74 by a Chris Harris inspired Rishton who took 7-28. At one stage the home side were 42-1 but Harris and Peter Sleep ran through the order with only Seymore (seven fours) putting up a brave front. After a rain break, Russell Whalley (29) and Sleep (28) took just 9 overs to reach a reduced target of 58.
