unbeaten 101 by professional Andre Seymore was in vain as Accrington
lost for the seventh time this season and remain in bottom place. Seymore's
innings contained ten boundaries and came off 166 balls but no other
batsman could manage double figures. Tariq Hussain, Matt Wilson and
Nasser Hussain all made 9 but Haslingden professional Ian Austin took
5-26 in 17 overs to restrict Accrington to 148-9. In reply, Graham Knowles
made his second half century of the season against Accrington as Haslingden
won by 4 wickets. Skipper Paul Blackledge hit 43 with Paul Clifford
picking up 2-24 for Accrington.
