Graham Knowles smashed an unbeaten 87 to take Haslingden to an 8 wicket victory over Accrington at Thorneyholme Road. Home professional Andre Seymore, making his debut, made 27, Adam Greenwood 30 and Tariq Hussian 20, but Accrington's 133 was never going to be enough. Knowles hit 12 fours and one six with Tommy Read making 22 and Ian Austin an unbeaten 12, all boundaries. Accrington used six bowlers in an attempt to breakthrough, but only Paul Clifford had any success picking up 1-23.
