Accrington
shattered any dreams Enfield may have had about capturing the league
title with a comprehensive 4 run win at Dill Hall Lane. The match was
full of stars for Accrington with Mohsin Ahmed hitting 43 to become
the first amateur since Mark Aspin in 1994 to pass 500 runs in a season.
Steve Juliff took 6-54 and Adam Barnes held 5 catches as Enfield were
soundly thrashed.

Sneddon also hit a fine 28 to confirm his vast potential for the future
as Accrington made 135-8. For Enfield, Martin Van Jaarsveld hit 47 in
his final game before flying home on Monday, Liam Jackson hit 23 and
Andy Barker, one of six players in Enfield's side who have played for
Accrington, made 16.
