Seymore became the eighth Accrington professional to pass 1,000 runs
in a season when he had scored 8 against Church at West End.
The South African went on to score a superb unbeaten 105 with 14 fours
and a six as Accrington made 160-1 in a 35 overs a side match.
Seymore
now needs 25 from the final match to overtake Jacques Rudolph as the
league's top run maker this season. Fifteen year-old Graeme Sneddon
hit an unbeaten 38 in a second wicket stand of 144 with Seymore.
Church passed Accrington's total with 5 wickets down. John Seedle hit
an unbeaten 37 in a 6th wicket stand of 39 with Thomas O'Neill (21 not
out) after good supporting innings from substitute professional Mel
Austin (26), Phil Sykes (24) and Mark Aspin (23) who got off the mark
in the first over with a six over square leg off Steve Juliff.
