Terry Lord (68) hit his first half century of the season as Bacup made the top score of the day, 204-5 in a rain curtailed match. Lord put on 103 for the 4th wicket with professional Shaun Young who hit 58, his second half century in the league this season.

Damian Clarke was Accrington's best bowler with 2-19. Steve Juliff picked up 2-53 and Dominic Ayres also hit 41 for the champions. The match was abandoned after 40 overs of the Bacup innings.
