On
a rain affected day Nelson completed the double over Accrington
in a low scoring match. Danny Kegg (3-32), Khurrum Nazir (3-20) picking
up his first wickets since breaking his ankle, and professional Wade
Wingfield (2-26) made short work of the visitors batting line up. Two
run outs completed the scorecard in the days lowest score of 114 but
Mas Ahmed (37) showed glimpses of his old form and Nasser Hussain (21)
was impressive in opening the batting. Wingfield (58 not out), Michael
Bradley (24 not out) and Lincoln Marshall (20) too Nelson to a 6 wicket
win. Captain for the day Tama Canning took 3-47 and Len Dewhurst 1-33.
