Tama Canning hit his first century for the club against Enfield
at Dill Hall Lane, the scene of his previous best knock for the club
of 98, last season. Canning's 115 took 145 balls and was the backbone
of Accrington's 195-6. Captain Mark Greenhalgh took 4-42 and Neil Holmes
scored 20 against their former club, but Canning had the last word,
taking 4-23 to give the visitors an 111 run win.
