Burnley beat Accrington by 6 wickets

Burnley took just over an hour to reach the semi finals on Monday night at Thorneyholme Road, losing two late wickets in an easy victory.

Resuming on 60 - 2 after 18 overs chasing Accrington's total of 149 all out, professional Dale Benkenstein scored 59 and David Brown an unbeaten 52 to give Burnley a 6 wicket victory. The home side fielded a substitute professional in Joe Scuderi after Tama Canning pulled out with chicken pox. Adam Greenwood top scored with 39 for Accrington with Dale Benkenstein and David Brown sharing identical bowling figures as well as initials with 4-29.
