Shaun Young and David Ormerodduo had Accrington in desperate
trouble at 17/5 but the visitors recovered to 138/8 thanks to Matt Wilson
(48), Tariq Hussain (30 not out) and Mas Ahmed (28). Young took 5-35
and Ormerod added 2 wickets to achieve 50 wickets in a season for the
fifth time. The home side made short work of the target, losing Peter
Thompson for 12, with Dominic Ayres (74 not out) hitting his first league
half century and Young adding another to his tally as Bacup won in the
th 34th over by 9 wickets.
