Seven wickets from Nathan Astle took Accrington to victory over Haslingden at Thorneyholme Road. Steve Birtwistle (36) and Mushtaq Ahmed (27) put together an opening stand of 66 before Stuart Taylor and Paul Strang stepped in with 4 wickets each to dismiss Accrington for 129. The visitors were then bowled out for 104 with Astle taking 7 - 40. Mike Ingham (25) and Strang (27) offered some resistance, but some superb catching saw the home side to victory. Scorecard
