Bacup stepped up to second place after beating Accrington by 4 wickets at Thorneyholme Road. Adam Dale and David Ormerod bowled unchanged for the fourth successive match to share all the home sides wickets. Nathan Astle top scored with 25 and Wayne Roberts hit 22 in Accrington's 112 all out. Peter Thompson steered Bacup home with an unbeaten 46. Astle took five of the visitors wickets at a cost of 44 runs. Scorecard
