Accrington v Burnley
Bottom club Accrington lost for the sixth time in seven games, this time by 10 wickets to mid table Burnley. Nick Marsh hit his first half century of the season for Accrington, hitting 58, including six fours. He lost professional Sherwin Campbell (16) at 24, Russ Edmonds (a career best 33) at 107 and Paul Barratt (8) at 124 before falling to visiting skipper Jon Harvey (4-39) at 131. Skipper Mark Aspin made 27 but Burnley professional Joe Angel picked up 3-26 to help restrict Accrington to 176-9. It was a good day for the Harvey brothers with Mark hitting an unbeaten 104, including seventeen fours in an unbroken stand of 177 with Terry Little who hit four fours in his unbeaten 68 to see Burnley to victory in the 40th over.
