Skipper Nick Marsh led Accrington to a third win from as many games with a match winning unbeaten 63 in a rain affected 35 overs a side game. Mark Lomas hit superb unbeaten 91 in East Lancs 160-3, adding 63 for the 2nd wicket with Tahir Hussain (26) after Accrington professional Neil Johnson had removed David Pearson without scoring. Professional David Clarke (20) helped Lomas put on 49 for the 3rd wicket and then skipper Andy Compton (14 not out) stayed with Lomas, who hit nine boundaries and six sixes in an innings that spanned over three and a half hours, to take the score to 160. Clarke removed Bob Collins (21) at 48, but Johnson hit five boundaries before being run out for 46 after adding 74 with skipper Marsh. Paul Barratt was unbeaten on 21 as Accrington won with more than three overs and 8 wickets to spare. Scorecard
