Accrington picked up their first point of the season, but they still went down by 30 runs at Enfield. Robert Haynes, standing in for the injured Enfield professional Lindon Joseph, hit 46 against his former club with Mas Ahmed (37) and Pankaj Tripathi (34) also contributing to Enfield's 167 all out. Paul Seedle took 6-54, his first Lancashire League wickets, and Accrington professional Shane Warne picked up 4-63 including the wickets of Haynes and Tripathi with the help of stumpings by Billy Rawstron. Haynes then struck with the ball, taking 5-63 to restrict Accrington to 137-8. Rawstron top scored with 43, Graham Beech hit 20, with Andy Barker and Seedle both scoring 17. Scorecard
