Accrington lost match number six with Church taking a 66 run victory away from Thorneyholme Road. Gerard Metcalf top scored with 70 in Church's 152-5, 64 of which came off the final 10 overs of the innings. Lancashire's Ian Austin, standing in for the sick Shane Warne, took 4-54 from 23 overs for the home side. Church professional Mark Priest then destroyed the home sides batting with a spell of 7-23 from 12.3 overs with Nick Westwell also picking up 3-39 to bundle Accrington out for 86. Only Paul Barratt (19), Nick Marsh (18) and Billy Rawstron (15) made it to double figures for the home side who are now 1 point behind Colne in bottom spot. Scorecard
