Terry Little notched his second unbeaten century of the competition in Burnley's 9 wicket win over Accrington at Turf Moor. Little hit 13 fours and three sixes in an unbeaten 104 with his final six off Steve Juliff winning the match after an epic 2nd wicket stand of 221 with Duncan Spencer, who made an unbeaten 92 with 11 fours after Mark Harvey had been dismissed by Paul Seedle in the first over. Shane Warne had earlier hit 51, his first half century for Accrington in the visitors total of 219-9. Bob Whitaker removed openers Neil Barnes (11) and Nick Marsh (8) but conceded 81 runs from 16 overs. Skipper Andy Barker was run out for 8 but Warne found an ally in Billy Rawstron (40) adding 52 for the 3rd wicket. Paul Barratt (32) then put on 36 for the 5th wicket with the Australian before Warne became one of five victims for Malcolm Heyworth after hitting seven fours and a six from 47 balls. Heyworth also removed Mark Greenhalgh (12) and Seedle to finish with 5-61 from 11 overs but Accrington spinners Warne (0-53) and Damian Clarke (0-45) couldn't match him as Burnley won with 10 overs to spare.
