Rawstron and skipper David Lloyd also shared an unbroken 3rd wicket stand of 52 with the home skipper making an unbeaten 28. The stand was broken when Rawstron whipped off Ahmed's bails to give Ian Birtwistle his only wicket of the match. The Enfield skipper had made 34 from 72 balls. Windle made 36 when he fell to Haynes at 107 and Eric Blanche (2) fell at the same score also to Haynes.
