David Pearson made 15 before being run out.  A 5th wicket stand of 93 between Neil Clemson, who made a career best 64 and Mitchley, who made 57, turned the match the home sides way. Lloyd dismissed his opposite number but Nick Keighley added 54 with Clemson before the latter fell in the penultimate over with 13 needed for victory.  With 7 needed  Worsick dismissed Keighley (19) in the final over but Howard Bowling and Ian Haworth saw the unbeaten league leaders to victory with 3 balls to spare.
